Part-Time Remote Clinical Supervisor

A Hope is seeking a part-time clinical supervisor who will be responsible for managing a caseload of 10 clients per week and providing supervision to a maximum of 5 Residents in Counseling. The ideal candidate will create a positive and inclusive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional standards. To excel in the position, one needs to have a strong grasp of mental health practices, clinical expertise, and excellent leadership skills. Below is a detailed explanation of the responsibilities involved in this role.

Responsibilities Administrative Intern: 

  • Maintain a caseload of 10 clients per week

  • Provide supervision to up to 5 residents in counseling,

  • Providing guidance and support and ensuring that all clinical practices are in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, collaboration, and professional standards and guidelines.

  • Complete chart audits and review clinicians’ documentation to ensure the delivery of high-quality mental health services to clients, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy.

  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with external stakeholders, including community organizations, referral sources, and other mental providers

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Must hold a Licensed in Professional Counseling  (LPC) in Virginia

  • Certification to provide supervision to Residents in Counseling (preferred)

  • Strong work ethic

  • Able to work independently

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in supervising and mentoring other clinicians

  • Deep understanding of mental health disorders and treatments,

  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and strong leadership skills
