ABOUT A RHAEA HOPE

Our Team Of Skilled Therapists

Our therapists come from various educational backgrounds and work experiences that equip us with the knowledge and expertise to help you overcome any challenge and support you on your journey toward well-being.

We're a community of compassionate and empathetic professionals dedicated to helping you heal from trauma and live authentically. We understand that healing and personal growth are unique journeys, which is why we create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without any judgment. Our goal is to provide you with the tools and strategies you need to navigate life's challenges with greater ease and confidence.

Let's say it plainly: the process of finding a therapist is often exhausting, confusing, and discouraging. You scroll through directories with outdated bios. You send emails into the void. You finally get a response, schedule a session, and realize within 20 minutes it's not the right fit — but you don't know if you should say that or just keep going.

A lot of people give up at this point. Not because they don't want help, but because the process of finding it wore them out.

"We don't want the search to be the thing that stops you.

That's why we do things differently at A Rhaea Hope.

HOW WE HELP YOU FIND YOUR FIT

We believe therapy should support the real life you’re living. That’s why our work is grounded in four core values: freedom, autonomy, honesty, and joy.

We start with a real conversation.

The free consultation isn't a sales call and it's not a mini intake session. It's a genuine conversation. We want to understand what's going on, what you've tried before, what felt off about it, and what you're hoping for. From there, we can actually point you in the right direction — whether that's one of our clinicians or somewhere else entirely.

MEET THE FOUNDER

Rhaea Goff, LCSW, certified Purpose Clarity Coach IS THE FOUNDER AND Clinical Supervisor

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Virginia State University and my master’s degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University. I am a clinically licensed social worker in Virginia and Maryland, and for more than 20 years I’ve worked across a variety of mental health and human service settings.

Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families through some of life’s toughest moments. My work has included facilitating substance abuse education classes, leading parenting groups, providing outpatient therapy, and offering mental health services in school settings. At the heart of it all is my passion for helping people feel seen, supported, and empowered as they navigate life.

This practice was created with the 20-year-old self in mind—the one who was determined to be successful but was also trying to figure out who she was and what her “superpowers” were. I read the books. I looked for guidance. Mimicked other people. I searched for spaces that could help me make sense of life’s messy, beautiful journey. But I couldn’t find one.

So I created it.

This space is for those who are figuring things out, building their life, and learning about themselves along the way. My goal is to make that journey a little easier—to help take some of the guesswork out of life and give you tools, support, and perspective as you grow.

Think of this practice as a place to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself. A place that helps you see your strengths clearly and reminds you that you already have what you need inside of you.

I’m here to be a light as you find your way.
